Material addresses suspension operation and theory; suspension service and repair; and thorough coverage of the Ultra Max valving system installation and set up. Learn state of the art techniques for suspension trouble shooting, disassembly, service, reassembly techniques, spring testing, proper spring selection, performance tuning and much more. Total Performance Suspension Tuning School


The total performance tuning school is a combination of three major topics:

  • Basic suspension theory.
  • Fork and shock service and repair.
  • ULTRA MAX fork and shock valving system installation and performance tuning techniques.
Every student will receive a comprehensive shop manual which includes exploded view digital images of common forks and shocks, spring charts, frequently used formulas, valving set up sheets, trouble shooting charts and lots more. This manual is so complete you will refer to it often while working in your own shop.

School structure is hands-on and very interactive. Students are encouraged to participate. Kayaba, Showa and WP forks and shocks are used extensively throughout every phase of the school. Theory and class discussion will address common suspension problems as well as unusual, often improperly diagnosed suspension conditions.

Saturday Only Total Performance Tuning School



Are you interested in saving $$$ servicing your own suspension? We invite you to attend day 1 of our awesome 2 day suspension school. If you want to learn the correct techniques for replacing fork and shock seals, installing springs and bushings and changing fork and shock fluid this class is for you.

If you own a late model Honda, Yamaha or KTM you will learn the proper procedures for servicing these complicated suspension components. We will service Showa Twin Chamber forks, Kayaba Dual Chamber forks, WP forks and the WP PDS shock found on all late model KTM’s. We will also service Showa 50mm and Kayaba 46mm rear shocks. Proper chassis and suspension set up is covered in detail, with an emphasis on maximizing performance utilizing stock components.

You receive a detailed and highly illustrated shop manual that will be a valuable aid as you work in your shop. You also receive a cool Moto Pro embroidered hat. Continental breakfast, snacks, lunch and beverages are included.
